MEET YUL

NEW LEADERSHIP DELIVERING RESULTS FOR OUR COMMUNITY

Yul Anderson is a member of the Global Future Society, a Fellow of the World Academy of Art and Science,

a fellow of the World Business Academy, a Fellow of the Caribbean Futures Forum, a member of various 

futures research organizations.  Mr. Anderson was featured in the TIMES and the Pan African Visions, as well as host and

panelist to many professional organizations including the United Nations, International Decade fro people of African Descent,

and other organizations and business interest.  He has been a featured speaker at the hope Global Forum and has served as a workshop presenter at the National Forum for Black Public Administrators and Blacks in Government.

 

Mr. Anderson has more than 20 years experience as a financial administrator for various cities, counties and states ranging from Boston to Miami.  Presently Mr. Anderson is the President/CEO of the African American Future Society where he heads a research team focusing on the Future of the Diaspora, Africa and African Americans.  Most recently Mr. Anderson has been looking into the Future of Haiti and is currently participating in the International Working Group for People of African descent at the UNHCR  (Human Rights) and the Summit of the Future.

 

Mr. Anderson holds a Bachelors Degree from Dartmouth College, a Masters Degree from the University of Massachusetts,  a certificate in Public Management from the University of West Georgia, Doctoral Studies in Public Administration (ABD) all but dissertation at University of Valdosta, and other training at USDA graduate school and studies in AI and machine Learning.

and advanced doctoral studies at Columbia Teachers College in New York.

Mr. Anderson also has over 20 years of government experience.  He has Directed and Managed the administrative, capital and operating budgets of government agencies for the City of Boston, the City of New York, City of Atlanta, Alachua County, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the State of Florida.

Mr. Anderson knows about Court operations, aviation and personal property tax having served as the Director Administrative Services for the 11th Circuit Court in Miami, Internal Auditor for the City of Atlanta Department of Aviation, and Director of Tax policy for the City of Boston.

​

Yul and Brenda Anderson operate a not for profit in Rockdale County.  The not for profit serves as an alternative sentencing site where people can complete their communty services hours.  Ms. Anderson hosts the Harriet Tubman Escape to Freedom event as well as other communty programs, such as knitting, quilting, womens empowerment training, personal wellbeing through hair and other community events as requested.

Mr. Anderson operates the African American Future Society, a global reserach company focusing on the Diaspora, African Futures, and African American Futures.  They are committed to participating and developing Rockdale' future.
