Blacks in Government National Legislative Review Legislative Committee is a organ of BIG that receives and analyzes new pieces of legislation. NLRC provides a platform to debate hot button topics and provide policy updates using foresight in government. Legislation impacts public policy and the future, BIG NTI NLRC forum is a great platform to exchange ideas and an opportunity to impact America’s future.
Invited speakers include national leaders, experienced professionals such as accredited university professors, government senior leaders, and private sector subject matter experts, will provide quality training sessions.
August 24,2016, the NLRC will provide educational, interactive, and highly motivational workshops. Some workshops will offer continuing professional education (CPE) credit and continuing educational units (CEUs).
Most recently the NLRC conducted a survey resulting in the TOP FIVE topics that ranked very important to the BIG membership, they are as follows: Voter Suppression, 3rd Grade to Prison, Prison Reform, the Whistleblower Protection Act, and Paycheck Fairness Act.
